Yay - we are officially on our way. June starts today (for anyone else who like me finds it hard to keep track!
) - so if you haven't already, now is the time to get started on your challenge.
Good luck everyone. Remember to put your target in your signature and update it when you get some money in so that we can encourage each other.
Any great ideas for making money do share them here in case they help someone else. And if you are new to the challenge you'll pick up ideas just reading people's updates - if you have questions do ask - the idea is for all of us to make as much extra money as possible. As for what can be included - that is up to you to judge. The idea is that this is extra money rather than salary or regular earnings. Personally I count any money that comes in that either- I got through extra effort at work
- I got through extra effort outside work
- I wasn't expecting
- I managed to avoid spending when I would normally have had to

Morning all,
Not caught up yet, but will read all in a sec.
I am going to go and find 5 books to list on amazon now (dont know where lol but i am) i have to stop being lazy lol
Puzzled
Edit: ive found 4 books and 3 dvds, all listed and ready to go, now im off to see how much some of my treasures can reach on ebay0 -
I am i shock, i just spoke to the MOST helpful person ever in the world in a call centre at Orange upgrades!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He explained all of my options and was a star, plus he told me that next week if i upgrade over the phone i would get £5 a month off my bill plus a phone that i like, (the shop only offered me £3.50 off a month)
And that was me being a bit dense and asking loads of questions, he said they can match the web price YAY
Thats £90 saving over the 18month contract!!!!!!
Im still looking for a better deal thou, lol0 -
Morning all!!
Another £4.90 for me today so far. Found my old Oyster card last night that I havent used in about a year cos I have a annual travelcard now, so I popped into the tube station and got a refund for what was left on it. :j
Every little bit counts;)

Gift from Grandfather - £30 (not for anything in particular....says he cant take it with him and I am his Only Grandaughter):A
I will be doing some extra private work for a local business auditing their books today so if I manage to finish that job I will be paid this month.
I do have regular monthly work from various businesses but I am not counting that as I class it as part of my regular income ontop of my job but if I do any extra jobs or one offs like the auditing work I am going to count that money towards my challenge. But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -
Can I join?
I've got a target of trying to clear £560 by the end of the month so the £10 a day challenge will certainly get me a long way there.
i've got two mystery shops on Tuesday which will bring in £20 and I'm planning a manic ebay/amazon/green metrolpolis listing week to get lots of stuff sold hopefully.
Since I've not joined one of these challeneges before I am going to ask a dim question (:o) how does it work. Do we all try and focus on generating extra income any way and count it up as we go along? Say my ebay sales ending in June do I total them up against the £300 June target? Sorry to be asking dim questions but I'd like to be clear!!

Course you can join. You've got the basic principle of it there - count up all the extra money you make over the month and post here (and in your signature) our updates. The idea is to try and make some each day but most of us will have days when we make more and others when we might make nothing at all.
Welcome aboard.0 -

Snowball is a great motivator isn't it? Good luck hitting that target - that would be fantastic!0
