I'm using mine towards my first house which we were planning to buy this year - the way things are going at the moment with the economy we're going to rent for a while instead and see what happens. I'm not wasting this hard earned cash on a house which is going down in price every day

Just spent the evening round my boyfriends with the Wii instead of in the pub so I could count that, but I won't
Not been here in years! Hi everyone. Make £10 a day challenge = £78.45/155

Ok count me in - I promise to try harder - to both make money and post here too!! :D:D

My first few months of the challenge - Jan-Mar were used towards paying for our wedding, now, I really don't know where the money is going - into the bank then into Tesco I think!!

ps- does everyone else use their money from this challenge towards something in particular? or for every day living? this is the first time ive saved it away for something instead of just using it to live off. just wondered what everyone else does? :)

Hey Noggin - I am trying to save my challenge money towards my trip to america in the summer but it doesn't always really work out because I count vouchers as money when I recieve them and use them (like boots vouchers) to get phone top up which saves me paying for it (so I guess that is just paying for day to day living) I could then transfer that money that i would have spent into my savings, but usually it just gets swallowed up in day to day things. Stuff that goes directly in the bank thouh, like quidco, cheques, paypal etc, I do tend to transfer to my savings :) and i try to pay my cash tips into the bank asap so that I am not tempted to blow all the money on something I don't really need. I do use the challenge as a bit of a motivator thing though, along with the savings for my holiday - for example, trying to do extra shifts and thinking - its for america!! to get myself through it!

I'd like to try this challenge. First time trying it, so I'm not sure what I can and can't count towards it. But I'm certainly willing to try.

I'm not on this £10 a day challenge - and maybe this'd be more apropriate on the bookies intro offers, but it may help: if you're on the Gala Bingo site today (Sunday) and tomorrow, then just spend 2p on just one ticket each day, and they'll pay you back 50p (as part of their everyone's a winner promotion), netting you a profit of 48p for each of the days you play. Might help some on their challenge!

Triggles, if you read back on the thread, there are loads of ideas on what you can count towards it. Mystery shops, clicks eg pigsback, selling stuff- ebay etc, surveys etc.
Some people use extras that they get now and again like overtime.
Everyone sort of does their own thing, it's a personal challenge so you can use anything really that is outside your regular income. If you get tips at work or bonus or anything you can use that too!

    HTH,

    xx

I'm saving mine towards a holiday abroad next year for me & DS (it would be DS first time!). So far I've got £735 in 2 months from this challenge!! Plus another £245 that I've managed to save as well.

Anyway, I've got an item ending on e-bay today only got a bid in of 99p but 9 watchers so hoping for a little bidding war later!.;)

I must STP for £1 today too  If I can do this each day then thats £30 to add to my total at the end of the month.

    Have a good day everyone!

I've had various ebay things sell but will wait until the money goes into my account until I count it again my total. Am going to ebay tonight as have a nice Karen millen top to sell and various bits and bobs.
