dont see why not worth a go, you can also uninstall/reinstall Outlook express just make sure you backup everything first just in case!When using the housing forum please use the sticky threads for valuable information.0

Yes you are correct they can, but Thunderbird does this automatically for you, just thought it would be easier for the OP.
Agreed, I thought that the OP was desperate to back up these files before trying anything else. All worked out well in the end.
