HI everyone

I have just started my first mobile contract with 3 using a Nokia phone.

I have a couple of questions for you-

How do I find out my balance/what texts I have used? I have tried connecting to Planet 3 but keep getting the message 'Packet data connection not available'
Also I have received reminders to join for free a tips and tricks service and this morning I accepted it because I thought it might let me find out my balance. It sent me a reply text with a password to MyNokia and said that the message would be saved on my phone for further use. SInce then I can't find the message and I don't know where MyNokia is on the internet.

I'm in a right pickle,I haven't been conned by this reminder have I?

Sounds like you do not have a data connection in your area. Can you send normal texts and make calls?

I've now registered my phone on three so have found out my balance-thanks!!
Just the Packet data thing to rectify. I'm able to send texts and make calls but I've not been able to receive picture messages.
I'm keep trying

call Customer services. You just might not have the correct settings...

WHat does packet data mean-anyone?? I have looked at my connectivity thing and it says it will connect when needed.

Packet Data is the way it connects to the internet.

Basically it only uses it when it needs to. you only get charged for the amount of data transferred not the time connected.

Once you get the correct setings you should be fine.

Man...I am ready to throw this bloody phone out of the window

Took out an 18 month contract with 3 on an n95 handset...all good for first few weeks...then.....

all week I have had major problems..

1. cannot send or receive MMS..phoned bloody India....got that sorted out after about an hour...

2. cannot gain access to planet 3 or internet..comes uo with an error (
Got this sorted out after the first phone call....

3. NOW...cannot send receive MMS SMS or make or receive phone calls!!!!!!!

To add insult to injury..car broke down today and I had no way to phone the flippin breakdown service...had to walk in the pouring rain to find a public phone

Phoned bloody India again and was made to feel like an idiot by the prat on the phone...made me do a Nokia software update...NOTHING CHANGED....said he thought it was my fault and that I must have done something!!!!

So, now here, with a stupid phone that wont work and still paying the bloomin bill...oh...and to cap it all..went into the 3 Store and they refused to help me as I had got the phone on the internet!!!!!!!

Sorry for long post...just really fed up with it all...
