I'm so restless today, I've done everything I needed to do, now just killing time before I go out (gotta drive 60 miles). Up to date with surveys.
Anyone got any website recommendations to beat the boredom? No longer using this account for new posts from 20130 -

Afternoon all
Snaggs - that's wonderful news about Natasha's cast being off.
Gemmzie - do you wanna come up to Leeds and do the things I need to do (I managed to clean the bathroom and vacuum the landing, also made lunch and bought the cat food. BUT I still need to make the bed, vacuum the bedroom, stairs and living room, wash the bathroom floor and do my gym-ball exercises BEFORE I leave at 4.30 to walk to Temple Newsam (2km) and then do a 5km walk/run with the sister in law, thankfully she'll be giving me a lift home afterwards otherwise it would end up being nearly 10km of exercising and that would be way too much for a bit of exercise!
Of ocurse if I want to pass an hour, I'd just log on here and "alakazam" an hour has gone:oDFW Nerd Club #545 Dealing With Our Debtnever attribute anything to malice which can be adequately explained by stupidity, [paranoia or ignorance] - ZTD&[cat]

Good luck with all of that Cat, I am thinking of starting up my walking again and need to build up a good distance. I have so much wonderful, free countryside nearby..must get out more.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

bedroom & staircase vacuumed. My vac is a cheap bagless thing that often overheats so after a flurry of vacuuming needs a break. Can't find my bucket, so phoned Wayne and he tells me it's in the garage and he used it for plastering:mad: so can't wash the bathroom floor (though I have an old swiffer thing, an old towel and a spray bottle filled with watered cleaning solution so could perhaps try 'swishing' the floor (it can't make it worse, so it has to be an improvement of some sort:o)
Gem - hmm, don't think I can justify making you travel until bedtime just to clear my mess... if I could justify it I'd be badgering you to come up!
Bob - we are right on the outskirts of Leeds (a 10-15 minute walk east will bring me to gorgeous contryside (even if it's raining, it's still gorgeous). I'm determined to walk/run through more of it than just pounding the pavement:rolleyes:. Even places like Haworth, Otley Chevin, Ilkley Moor etc aren't that far away and are just so (though tiring when climbing to the top, the view makes it all worth while).

Have not done a stitch of revising. Oh I lie I did a couple of hours this morning - then went into work for a couple of hours and then snoozed in bed for a couple of hours watching that 'kiss of death' on bbc download!
Its raining here too! Must go and do more revising - when will I get my life back............Quality is doing something right when no one is looking - Henry Ford

I've spent a fortune today!
I 'popped' over to the grabbit board, just for a browse, and saw the M&S towels thing. We need new ones so I bought a whole new load, 18 to be exact on their deal (cost £21) so far so good. Then while there I ordered a new duvet for our bed, we have a thick duck feather one and I am so hot at the moment, plus some new curtains for the bedroom and pillows and sheets. Grand total around £140.
Then I had to go on a tesco run. I tend to do a big shop once a month, filling the freezer and cleaning cupboards etc. usually I spend about £120, but today I took jasmine with me (to help out) and the shop came to £176
That'll teach hubby to go and get paid won't it :rotfl::A

Oh you have just reminded me! I went into Asda for a bottle of fizzy wine to take into work tomorrow!!! Yes, its true - the bossess are away!
They had Pinot Grigio for £7.49 but if you bought three bottles it was three for £10. They had some nice £8 red on the same offer..... So now I have four bottles of wine. Why do I always fall for these things....Quality is doing something right when no one is looking - Henry Ford
