Oh good June is open for business!
Could you please put me down for £150 for this month. Just for two of us but we do tend to have a feeding of the 5000 situation for big international football matches on so I'm giving us some slack. I've already spent around £55 btw in a mega tesco shopalthough I did get £9 off with a very helpful code....
Oh and just to prove I'm really OSI've got to make scones for DFIL tonight so I have also prepared 4 ciabatta loaves, butternut squash and aubergines to go into the oven at the same time .... hopefully this is enough to keep me going in salads for the rest of the week
and freeze some bread for again.
Good luck everyone0 -
Can you add me please :j £400 for June for 2 adults 2 teenagers and 3 teenagers part-timeTOTAL 44 weeks lose. 6st 9.5lb :T0

i know this is really complicating things
but is there any way we (someone with more brains than me
) could maybe do a graph or bar chart of some description so that our monthly totals can be seen at a glance maybe over the year?
I have done a spreadsheet for the April GCand will add in May's GC figures in a weeks time when more people have declared But does anyone know where I can host this? as its too big to take a screenprint of the whole thing.
It looks like this ATM but could do charts aswell once theres a couple more months data on it...

Hi MRSMC - can you please put me down for £250 again for June please, don't want to reduce it with prices rising the way they are.
I survived the 4 day walking Pilgrimage to Canterbury, :j it was amazing and I'm so glad I did it. The downside is that I now need to get back into the kitchen and replenish the supplies. At least the family didn't bust the budget while I was away, I'm so proud of them and I had left them plenty of batch cooked meals, muffins, hobnobs, HM Rolls etc so there was no excuse.
Will get logged on tonight and catch up with all the pages I have missed but in the meantime hugs and congrats to those that need them and good luck to everyone for June and our shiny new budgets.:T"WASTE NOT, WANT NOT!"GC for OH, myself, DD18 & DD16 includes Toiletries, cleaning stuff & Food.

DH was away last week at a funeral, he stayed with my mum and she filled his case with lovelies like biscuits etc. Also some Tunnocks sausage rolls- nothing beats them, I grew up on those as the only sausage roll.
I sometimes have the freezer full but no meals thing too, thats why I meal plan- have a good look through the freezer and make sure every meal this week contains at least one thing from there, even if you have to get other stuff to go with it.

Thanks OrkneyStar - I definitely need to get more into meal planning. Tonight the children are having tortillas (from freezer) with bolognaise (from freezer), lettuce, cheese and peppers. I am having the 6 scampi that are left with waffles (all from freezer and given to me when my mum bought bogof). DH is having homemade soup from freezer. That will create a bit more space. Might also do everyone a side order of sausage rolls and yorkshire pudding:rotfl: . The yorkshire pudding are something else that my mum gave me...they take up so much room in the freezer so we always make our own.
DH also brings home potato cakes, tunnock wafers, and plain bread though you can get the last two in tesco now it's cheaper up north especially when his mum buys it all for him!0 -
