    We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
    Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

    Two threads to have a search on for recipes. I can reccomemend the banana one on the sw thread, even if its not choccy.

    Chocolate mousse.

    Good dark choccy 100g
    milk choccy 100g (just use one works as well)
    Unsalted butter 75g
    vanilla extract 2 capfuls
    free range eggs 4
    caster sugar 25g

    1. melt choccy and butter together in bowl (over hot water) stir when melted then leave to cool.
    2. stir in vanilla extract when cool
    3. seperate eggs and whisk the yolks and sugar together until mix becomes a little paler. stir the whisked yolks into butter and chocolate until thoroughly mixed in.
    4. Whisk egg whites until stiff enough to make little peaks ( no liquid left in bowl)
    5.Mix egg whites ( or rather fold ) a bit at a time into choccy mix,until you cant see any of the whites. I use a wooden spoon in a kind of paddle motion (you can lick it after hehe)
    6. Put into best posh bowls, i actually like wine glasses for this one, and leave in the fridge to set.

    7. serve to much impressive gasps from mates. I like to slice or even leave a strawberry on top, and you can sprinkle icing sugar, or a leaf of mint on top. Raspberries are rather nice as well. Once i made it in a small ramikin, put on a large white plate and made a raspberry sauce, dribbled around the dish, sprinkled icing sugar and had a few fruits on edge of plate. Very easy to do.

    8. The digestives...i could find a few recipes,(choccy cheescake) but personally i would scoff them with butter and jam. :rotfl: :rotfl:

    Morning everyone, well the computer made weird noises last night so i had to go. How very dare it?
