Should I ditch my 12 months prepay deal in favour of pay monthly contract?

I've always had a 12 months prepay deal with O2 , about £60-£80 a year for 50 free mins a month. I pay for texts and overall pay £3-£4 per month so it used to cost me about £100 - £130 per year. This year they want £100 for the prepay charge which would bring the total up to £150 per year. No new mobile is included.
I've been looking on the internet but it's so confusing!
I don't want any of that cashback nonsense unless I'm absolutely certain to get it!
I guess I need about 75 mins and about 25 text messages per month.
Any thoughts/suggestions appreciated.

You could try one of the Three deals, no cashback. Cross network minutes and texts from £15 a month.
I have had one for just over a year, a flashy refurb z610i, 500 free x network mins p/mth but no texts for £15 p/m, all the deals on the website include texts now I think. Very happy with it, my first contract phone ever. (It took me a while to convert...)I always wanted to be a procrastinator, never got round to it...0
