How much do you pay for your electricity?

At 10 pence for a kWh an 11W CFL will run for 909 hours for £1

I used SP's 2011 'high' tariff of 16.736p Kwh (first 900Kwh) guess it could be 976 Hours @ 9.312p Kwh for the rest..... We have just changed from BG's Clck energy 3 to SP's fixed 2011 tariff......

I'm using candles too!! they've been sat around for ages in storage in a carrier bag so I thought I might as well use them.

They provide just the right contrast with a monitor too.

I must have too much time on my hands cos I keep putting the wax from the old candle in the molten wax.

I live in fear that they might have doubled in Price by winter though! lol

we had candles on the fireplace last night, i have loads in cupboard, they must have been there for years, may as well use them. and if it saves even a bit of electric then thats great.
Just to win anything would be great!!

Lol im using the candles for light, its gives of a nice effect and just enough light.
Yeah might be a fire risk but i have the candles in my lounge where im sitting. So i can look after them,
at the pound shop i buy the big white candles and they last for AGES.
They are a good light source why would i want to use light from electricity when i have perfectly good light from candles.
Oh and its nice when u want to have a bath and relax, im glad im not the only one using them maybe we should start our own club lol.
