    thanks math. i just want some time to myself, and the eldest two will be away at camp, so youngest is going camping at grannys. (god help them!!!) and i love the beach. ;D and like the sound of the food. ;D ;D

    if u gonna visit the abbey though make sure you go equiped with asthma spray n no buggies, hell those steps go on forever

  • You don't have to climb all those steps to get to the abbey though!

    My mum and dad used to have a caravan in Whitby about ten years ago, at the time us kids thought it was quite boring going week in and week out. :-/

    But hubby and I went for a long weekend recently and it was great!!! I think theres something for everyone in Whitby, I can't see how anyone can critisize the place. And The Magpie is very popular for good reason, the food is wonderful! Everyone is so freindly too. ;D :) ;D

    Anyway I better shut up know as i'm starting to sound like my mum and dad!! ;) :-[ :-[
    I love bargains but freebies are better!! ;-)
