Ways to make extra cash!

Options
I've found a load of good ideas on this forum that I have started using, and a few of my own. I thought it would be useful if we could collate them for anyone that is interested!

I'm now on my second month as an Avon lady:p . A fair amount of work for a little gain, but I get to meet new people in the village (we moved in feb and as yet know only our neighbours), and get a bit of extra exercise in the process! There are other companies as well like bettaware and such that do similar schemes. Careful though, knocking on peoples doors to get your magazine back (which you have to buy yourself) is not for the faint hearted!!

I've also signed up for mystery shopper with a few different companies, but will have to let you know how that goes!

We're selling loads of stuff on ebay (currently making 7.90 :rotfl: plus postage...every little helps lol).

Does anyone have any other ideas for a quick cash injection?

Tig xx

I'm loving ebay too, got a few things on there for sale at the moment

Amazon is good for selling DVDs, Books and CDs

Survey sites I enjoy and am a member of a few - my favourite is www.valuedopinions.co.uk, they pay approx £1 for each survey and basically when you get £10 in your account you can choose to redeem the money for a gift voucher :). I'm waiting for an M & S one to come through so I can treat myself and OH to some 'posh' food!!
Money doesn't make you happy so I'm skint but cheerful

I do Avon and it will take time to see a return. I work in one of the most difficult areas to sell too but I have a few regular customers who do order quite a lot. Just perservere. Also I sell at work. I also enjoy their cheap deals that I get.

    With the Avon thing,
pop into doctor's and dentists surgeries, health centres large call centres & schools and leave a few samples and a book with the receptionists, state which day you'll be back in to collect the book and orders
OR try to get one lady to collect orders for you (a deputy seller) if she can get you say £120 worth of orders you could give her some free stuff!

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

Also, make sure you join Toluna and Valued Opinions and You Gov for surveys, the points do mount up pretty quickly.

My main extra income comes from mystery shops and i normally have at least a few lined up each week. I remember when i was off to do my first mystery shop, my boyfriend was admanant that i wouldn't get paid for it. Now i earn around £100 a month if not more and couldn't be without it.

I also do lots of surveys, matched bettting and daily clicks.

I do dog walking and love it! Keeps me fit too! It doesn't earn me huge amounts (I just rely on what people are prepared to give me) but it's the enjoyment I get from it, meeting people, I've also lost loads of weight - to dogs walk me! - Deliver and collect my Avon brochures at the same time. BOS good suggestions with the Avon catalogues, I leave some in my local cafe and hairdressers. The lady who works in the little post office up the road from me loves Avon and didn't realise I did it until i posted a card in her shop window.
