Where have you been keeping it? Is it covered and if so, what with? Try giving it a stir - any sign of frothing or sourish smell?
Which recipe did you use - did you use wholemeal flour?
Sorry for all the questions:rudolf: Sheep, pigs, hens and bees on our Teesdale smallholding :rudolf:0 -

Have you been feeding your starter? I removed half and then added more flour and water daily, for a week:rudolf: Sheep, pigs, hens and bees on our Teesdale smallholding :rudolf:0 -

bubbling and had been put in the fridge0 -

My advice would be to start feeding your starter:rudolf: Sheep, pigs, hens and bees on our Teesdale smallholding :rudolf:0 -
I would love to be able to bake sour dough bread.
Never tried it before. I bake a bread in my bread maker though (only according to breadmakers own recipe book).
Can I bake sour dough, or just prepare the dough in my breadmaker? (it does have setting for kneading only). It would be great if I could, as I've never really kneadled (sp?) a bread dough before!!
Anyone has really easy recipe? For very beginners?
Thank you0
