Edited to say, because we didn't see a bit of wire sticking out, but it wouldn't would it, until you needed it:o

Take a look at the electric sockets on this page - http://www.towbarexpress.co.uk/electric.html

Roll over the images to see what the inside of the sockets look like. You are looking for something like that located somewhere near to the towbar. It may be hidden to make it look less ugly.
