I've just recieved the email about noone keeping my torch lit, and I too can guarantee my BF signed up this morning.

Can anyone confirm anything about the problem? I personally reckon were still on. There was just a broken link in the chain.

Looks like I've lost too - got the same email saying no-one replied within 24 hours, but as I started it all, and got 5 confirmation emails... this must be bull****

Taken from official uk rule:

The new members of the league may in turn invite a maximum of 10 acquaintances, following the same procedure already described, in order to make the league of friends larger.
One friend at least must reply to the invitation. If no reply is received, the flame lit by the creator of the group goes out.

Well it looks like I'm not in the league anymore because no-one replied within 24 hours!! Grrrr When I log in I'm not in a league anymore...

Yeah Linda. Your right no sign of the group now. What a bummer after all the hard work. We could always start again with some kind of plan of action. :mad: I think that we should only join up if we are committed to get at least one person to join and if anyone is struggling they should email on this thread an emergency for a sign up. No need to get 10 if you cant manage it when 1 will do. Right. We also should post on the status of our torch and sign ups in some kind of order. So post if you want to get the ball rolling again Linda.
Edit: Just a thought we'd probably have to use different email addresses!?

Yeah - I don't know what the best plan of action would be for this - maybe it's even worth waiting a bit for it to be closer to the end-date, if we can't keep it going for that long..?
What do you guys think? Should we compile a huge list of names of people who want to join, the first person on the list who wants to join invites the second, the second person on the list invites the third and so on?

I did get my other half to sign up, so dont know why the chain has gone and I replied to LindaS before 24 hours. I think we should all start again. I will start and send to all people that sent me their emails, so those that definately reply within 24 hours to send to me. Then we get the next person to do 10 and so one so that there will be no mess up with the chain?

Have we complained ? I think it's worth waiting till the fix the bug as we didn't break the chain and still lost our league?

All, I have re-created MSE COMPERS league and I will complain to them also. If anyone wants to send me their emails (have 7 left), then we can start again?
