About to swap, but which one do I select?

Hopefully I may be on the road to swapping an unused SE K850i locked to vodaphone for either of two SE 810i's. One is locked to orange and the other O2.
Is it easy to get whichever I select, unlocked and made available to vodaphone and is this something done by market traders only?.
At this moment in time, I have no idea which swap I will make. It may be that YOU decide by your reply, as in one is easier than the other.
Do you think this should be a straight swap? or should money be involved as mine is the later model?
