I suppose the best thing to do is let Experian sort out the technical problem then allow 2-3 months for your searches to not count and try again .... Make sure you appeal any unsuccessful applications though as this way you can provide additional information to help you ..

I am going to contact Capital One soon as my refual comes through the post.
Dont know if anyone can put any light on it but I applied for a Capotal One card, was accepted, they sent me an agreement to sign and return to them for the Classic card, I did that, got a letter a week letter reminding me I had not taken payment insurance (already have this to cover all my acards) and since heard nothing, 3 and a half weeks now since I sent the signed form back hwoever rang them last week, they told me they have reviewed my application again and have had to refuse it, could this be wrong?!
As I have still not got a refusal letter nor E-mail stating that.
If I have been refused once I get the letter I am going to appeal against it and send a copy of the councils electoral documnet to prove I am on the voters role.

if i understand correctly, you have an unsettled defaulted of 1,500.
normally that means you are either unable or unwilling to settle the debt. In such situations lenders are often not willing to lend incase you are unable or unwilling to repay them.

The default was over overdraft charges on one of my closed accounts.
However they never advised me or sent me a default notice, I only got one letter advising me that there was a balance owing - they should have sent a default notice or reminder.
