£250.00 and to Barclays. just checked and its still not processed and i now notice the date is set as the 15th June, hardly fast!
very disapointing but hardly unexpected from UK banks.
so not working:
A&L to A&L
A&L to Halifax
Lloyds to Barclays.
what could i try just to actually see a FP work?
where are people getting the info from about which banks are operating which system on a send/recieve basis? the APACS site is for checking receiving only.
The first Faster Payments that you will be able to make are likely to be from your Lloyds TSB account to either Halifax or Barclays. However it looks like Lloyds TSB are still having problems as I am still unable to send from my CA with them.
The whole project is being spoilt by a complete lack of software testing, overall project co-ordination and providing adequate information to the customer.
APACS should be doing more to address these issues !0 -

To be fair a few of them have delivered for their customers :-
1. HSBC
2. RBS (NatWest)
Lloyds seem to be struggling with it's implementation of "Sending" faster payments.
HBOS and Barclays should be able to send Faster Payments in a few months.
And the situation for most of the Building Societies can only be described as "mixed".0 -

From these boards and other people I know who have tested faster payments -
Able to SEND
- HSBC (including First Direct)
- RBS (including NatWest)
- Barclays
- Tesco
Able to receive
- HSBC (including First Direct)
- RBS (including NatWest)
- Coventry BS
- Egg
- Tesco
- Northern Rock
- Newcastle (but doesn't show online until next day, though with previous day's date)
Suggest you only list where it's actually been tested, not just announced by the bank.
Would you be willing to do that KeithEssex?0 -
Halifax/Bank fo Scotland definately can receive faster payments into their accounts but can't send them as yet.0

Alliance & Leicester can now receive faster payments. Just did a transfer from FD to A&L and it was there immediately.
