Nokia 8800
How much is everyone paying for these? I'm 13 months into a Voda contract and when I asked he said they were out of stock I asked how much to upgrade and he flipantly said, about £400.
what's the cheapest people are getting these on new tariffs and upgrades please. Might need some negotiation tools as I now want one of these as I'm sick of waiting for the N91!
Also how long before you can change tariffs on various networks, O2 told me 6 months, what about the others?
Thanks in advance.

I think the cheapest one year cost for the 8800 is about £540 iirc. That includes the phone cost and contract cost. Obviously new customers only.
Damn sexy phone

Cheapest i have seen is £524.99 and that includes the phone price for 1000 off-peak minutes a month.
Usually it is 6 months before you can downgrade on most networks.0 -
Cheapest I've seen it is 450 quid!0

Correction, 432 Quid, Brand New from a Shop!0

Mind worked out to £360 for handset + 18months line rental from the vodafone shop0

Thanks everyone, don't really want an 18 month contract.
i've e-mailed Vodafone asking for PAC code so hopefully if they mail that through someone may call and ask why I'm leaving and I'll see what the best deal I can get is.
i have found a deal with Vodafone on 1 stop phone shop where I can get handset for £250 and pay £30 a month on 12 month contract with o2.0 -

Errr, thats £610 for the year, prices around 520-540 for the year are easily achievable as stated above.
Twisters deal must be a renewal, there is no-one doing the 8800 for £360 including 12 months rental, never mind 18. Either that or he hasn't added the line rental cost into the £360 figure.

does anyone know if you can upgrade at 10 or 12 months with an 18 month contract?
No

Mine was on a new connection, breakdown as follows:-
£0 for handset, £60 month, half price for 6 months, then change to £15/month for remaining 12 months.
£30*6 + £15*12 = £360
Good luck finding one though, when I got mine in august, none of the vodafone stores had them ... just happened to walk into one which had 2 in stock, but even then they didnt want to sell them ... very strange ... anyway, I ended up buying both!0
