    Hi Skittifer,
Cymex is the most amazing lip product I have ever used. It's a cream you can use day or night, but night is better as it stays on your lips longer when you're not eating/drinking/talking etc!
You only need the tiniest amount and it completely transforms dry, cracked, sore lips. Really can't recommend it highly enough & it's only £2.45! It used to be over the counter but I havent bought it for a while (it really does last for ages lol) so it might now be on the shelf.

Boots expert lip protector is also worth a mention.

It is a cheaper version (£1.59) and is a good basic product- if the 100 points with 1/3 off was still on I would suggest you try it, but at full wack I would personally pay the little bit extra and go for Cymex.

    HTH.
Cymex sounds good, I think I might try that.

DS used to suffer badly with dry cracked lips and cold sores, the cold sores were always worse in the summer monhs. Our GP said that sunlight was to blame for both his dry lips and the cold sores, apparently sunlight can trigger the dormant virus. He recommended a lip salve with a high SPF, DS now uses Uvistat, SPF 50 which works a treat. :D

    Had a quick shop today.

Bought a natural collection strawberry giftset reduced from £8.50 to £4.25. On the £4.25 spend the free gwp costmetic bag went through ok even though it was an under spend.

Tried to under spend with S&G and got one reduced Jam Sessions @ £2.50 but free bag didn't kick in. Ran and got another Jam Sessions taking spend to £5 this time bag went through free.

Tried an under spend on Mediterranean/Amazon Forest to get gwp. Bought the mini gift set at £5 then bought reduced handwash at £1.50 and the handcream at £2.25 but gwp didn't go through. Had to run back and get another handwash £1.50 then gwp went through.

The Boots tills do my head in that's all I can say:confused: :rotfl:

Not trying to second guess the tills (the big mystery in all our lives) but I think it's because the original price was £5 and the GWP kicks in WYS £6+ therefore by buying 2 jam sessions the till thinks it's £10 your spending so u get 1 free bag (hope that makes some sense)

Did exactly the same thing ydy! (quite a work-out boots shopping - always running round the store looking for glitches or other items to get all our GWPs!)

Completely agree...tills are crazy sometimes! (but mostly we love em cos they often work out in our favour....recent no7 sun screen + gwp is just one example ;))

PS. I really think I'm getting the hang of this double quoting thing! (one day i'l master the inserting photos one lol)

More fab deals today, and I didn't spend a penny! I was returning some items, and had a £10 voucher from Pigsback.

    With £13.99 credit I got:
-2X Med mini box (mini body wash, body butter & buffer): £5 each
    -Botanics exfoliator bar: 75p (clearance)
-Nat. Col. body scrub: £1.50 (half price)
-Nat col apple body polisher: £1.25 (half price)
-Nat col blue head band: £1 (half price)
-Nat col gwp bag: free (I had only spent £3.75, but the till counted the original price towards the gift)

I used the Botanics bathing £1 off PC coupon, so after it was all rung in, I got 24p back!

In a second shop in clearance, I found packets of deli lemon chili seeds for 15p, and more of the hacket minis for 65p and 3 for 2. I also found the InStyle with the cute beach bag which I didn't realize Boots sells, so I got another for £1 with the coupon from the magazine forum. I used my Pigsback coupon, and got £3 back on giftcard! :j

Can I ask what you were returning? Are they funny about swapping stuff with no receipt? Does it have to be something that can't be opened?

    Any help appreciated :)
