Can i just say, i LOVE the chat. I don't post on here, but it's my early morning ritual to read the prevoius days posts, which sometimes have me crying with laughter.Sometimes it's the chat that can help people get a better bargain.PLEASE don't stop just because there are a few party poopers around.
ps: it wasn't me in Manchester!

    Sorry missed a page earlier!

My local never has MF gwp on display, the consultant used to hide them away, hence me saying about MF in my imaginary letter

Was at till at six and fave SA said MF has left now as no longer likes the job etc, so ran like a nutter to stand...not only was it clean and tidy for first time, there were two old gwp's there! Darted back to patient SA at till, asked her how long till she finished and remarked how i'd be outside s*p*r*r*g then. SA put rest of my shopping through and I managed to bump into her ten minutes later, such a lovely SA that I had to give her one of my GWP's:rotfl:

I've got my 2x £2 mf vouchers and have been checking the mf stand for ages - must have an SA same as yours cos there's never been a GWP there!

Great posts Geordie lass and Palice.

This is a discussion board, the glitches that have been discovered have come about through "chat", ie: discussion.

Morning geordie_lass and how true are those words? :) Imagine if sally06 had posted her highlighter glitch on a thread with no chat? I for one would have been floundering about like a fish out of water, and probably still paying £10.25 for it ;)

Yes, I used to get mildly irked by some chatty posts, namely during the post Christmas sale on .com, when there were pages of "good mornings" etc. but that's only because I wasn't interested in the .com sale. What's irrelevant to me is important to someone else, let's live and let live. It would never cross my mind to complain about it; I had to scroll quickly through a few pages each day but so what? If there was no chatting allowed then I would simply stop participating, I think many others would too and then we would all lose out.
Those morning posters used to drive some people nuts, me included because I couldn't get to Boots online because of the site freezing ;):D but the complainers made me feel very maternal towards the morning crew, who, in between saying hello to each other, discovered some great offers - and shared them. So as you say, live and let live :)

OK, now here comes my bit to those who complain; this is not a branch of Boots, nobody here is under any obligation to provide you with a service, we are just a bunch of people who are having a bit of a chat about some bargains we have discovered.
Whilst we'd all like the bargains being mailed to each of us individually lol, the real ethos of this thread comes into play when people share the glitches, explain how they work, and read about the success stories. If it was a thread with no chat, then it would look something like this:

    http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=764181

and whilst that thread is very useful, it doesn't answer the questions of how to use those codes does it? That happens in these Boots threads and chatting about them.
It's interesting to note that the complainers have once again generated pages of posts which they would probably say are irrelevant to the thread

How true, and how ironic :) I don't have your diplomacy skills geordie_lass (unfortunately ;)) but it's a given that what you post always makes sense.

    Thanks x

(And look - a week ago I couldn't double quote, but I can now (phew, it's hard work though and a bit straggly lol) and it's all thanks to fellow posters :))

Need a break :o this double-quoting's not easy :rotfl:
