My cat has never killed a bird since I bought her a Liberator cat collar abot 3 years ago. Good luck.

We have two boy cats. The eldest kills and brings them into to show us. Miaows like he's in pain top wake us up! He did bring in a live shrew one night and dropped it on the bed. I screamed. The younger cat caught it as it ran under the chest of drawers. We had no chance. I felt really sorry for it but it wouldn't let us catch it and I 'm sure it probably would have been caught again the next night.
The younger one catches squirrels and pigeons and takes joy in eating them. Often, there will be the remains of a mouse in his bowl in the morning. ( He is at least tidy with those)
We had an episode where he managed to get a live pigeon through the cat flap. Feather everywhere!!
His lastest massacre was a nest that he destroyed early one morning on our neighbours front lawn. The murder of the entire family.
Believe it or not they both have two bells on there collars plus metal name tags. There just damn good at what they do! I watched the eldest exit the house through the cat flap in stealth mode. He's good at it!

If they are catching and eating wildlife, they need to be wormed regularly!!

I have house cats. They never go out. The other day I came home from work early to find a dead shrew in the middle of the living room floor with the cats sat around looking at it?

Do you think they order take-away when I'm not there?:D

    Cats are predators at heart.

I read somewhere that they actually bring you presents of dead animals to show their love. I usually accept it and let her (Susie, my cat) eat the bird or mouse.

Its weird but a similiar thing happened to me i had 2 male cats (brothers) and one was a total hunter sometimes up to 2/3 birds a day plus mice even though he had 2 bells and a metal tag (although it did calm down to maybe 2/3 a week with the bells and tags) the other cat he was laid back and very camp (totally minced it when he walked lol) he prefered to lay in the sun watching the world go by , about a year ago i lost my hunter (Magic) to a savage dog and ever since my other cat (Mackem) seems to have butched up he brings birds and mice etc its really weird to see because its like he became the leader when the other one died and i suppose thats how animals work in a way.

Hi the Liberator cat collar does stop my cat from catching birds but not mice. I keep her in at night for her sake & mine. A bell would help but any I have tried stick to the magnet on her collar - that's why I bought the Liberator collar - it saves birds at least. GG
