K810i - What to do with it?

Hope I'm posting in the right place - and this is NOT a plug for the phone, please don't PM me on it.

I've got a K810i - long story short it's an insurance replacement for a damaged phone. Thing is, I don't need a phone with a spec like this, it seems such a waste.

Wanted to know what the most cost effective way to get rid of it was - sell it on e-bay, local paper, or part exchange it? Bit apprehensive at putting it on e-bay after reading about charge backs and stuff .

Also if it's an insurance replacement is it likely to be new or a refurb? Plus if I do sell it, is it better to put it back to factory basics or sell it with the extra games on it?

Any advise greatly received.

Personally I'd put it on eBay as is, and state exact reasons for sale.

Would also tie the Auction down very tight, for example UK only, Paypal payments and will only ship to a registered Paypal address. Delivery by Royal Mail Special Delivery. Plus no one with feedback of less than 5.

I have sold quite a lot of phones on eBay oer the years and to date have not had a problem. Touch Wood.

Insurance jobs are normally refurbs if they have stock but you may be lucky and get new they generally come with just the phone and battery only.
    Cheers

    Thanks sjc.

The phone came from the ins co boxed with all the attachments & booklets etc. so maybe it was new? It's just too high spec for lil ol me and seems such a waste keeping it specially as I have this credit card that needs everything throwing at it at the mo :o I've sold a few things on e-bay and am always more than honest.

I would expand on that and say a feedback of no less than 5 and member for at last 1 year. Too many fraudsters sign up and get good feedback buying 1p links for ebooks. It may limit the number of buyers but it is added protection.

You could always try www.cex.co.uk as well.
