Petrol saver - anyone got one?

With petrol costing fortune, and because I haven't got enough money to go and buy a new car, I was thinking of getting a petrol saver.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/FUEL-SAVER-FOR-PETROL-DIESEL-GAS-BARGAIN-PRICE_W0QQitemZ230255789846QQihZ013QQcategoryZ122139QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Has anyone already got one of these and do they work?? My theory is that if I get one, and it does indeed work, it will soon pay for itself. My petrol bill at the moment is £120 a week as I have to fill up twice because of commuting to work, although if it gets much more expensive, it won't be worth me going to work at this rate!

Would appreciate any thoughts on this....

    If it really improved your mileage by "27%" don't you think Ford, Honda, GM, VW would be fitting them by now ?

    OR - if you like conspiracies, Esso/Shell/BP would be busy bumping off everyone involved with manufacture, advertising and sales of this item !

    £4.99 ! - hysterical laughter !!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    The magnetic type don't work, however (from experience), injector cleaner works well (saves about 5%).
    According to Quentin Willson, the electronic system he fitted to his diesel Jag saves him about 10%. They cost about £300 to buy, and take about 10 mins to fit (or if you are like the rest of us, about an hour). Might try one on my 2.2 Espace, if it works, I'll achieve over 40mpg (ave.)
