Going to complain to Ikea

Well should i write a letter or email? I am complaing about i was given an cone with a tissue. The tissue smelt liek meat. I dont really like cooming in contact with meat that i am not suposed to eat. As i am a Muslim

Any tips and advice?

First of all the tissue is actually a napkin & most ice cream vendors will give you a cone with a napkin wrapped around it. Secondly was the napkin clean? if it was then it is just the smell that has permeated the napkin and not any part of the animal, which means that you have not eaten or come into contact with meat that is not Halal. Personally I wouldn't complain, but then it is up to you if you want to or not.

I didnt look at the napkin but it looked clean. I didnt say anything in store becuase when i got i used the tissue i was outside.

well what flavour of ice cream did you ask for? as there is some crazy flavours out there now:rotfl: and personally i would only complain if you had to assemble the cone yourself and there was a part missing:p

They've probably got a whiff of the hot dogs on them (the napkins that is!) which Ikea sell in the exact same place as the ice cream.

Nothing you can do about that.

Was the OP joking? Seems a bit ridiculous to complain of a smelly napkin to me..

If they are that uppety about non halal meat then they should only eat at places that sell halal meat..

Why would anyone want to sniff a napkin anyway, and surely to sniff one, you would have to look at it?
