Transferred £1000 from FD to Barclays; money left FD but never turned up at Barclays.
Hopefully, it will turn up sometime today.

Money turned up this morning at Barclays.

Thing with Lloyds is I've found the following web pages:
    http://www.lloydstsb.com/ways_to_bank_with_us/faster_payments.asp
Faster Payments has been rolled out for one-off payments made through our Telephone Banking services. At a later date, Faster Payments will also be introduced for our Internet Banking customers.

Anyone had a faster payment sent via LLoyds?

    Hi,

Anyone tried and sucsecsfully made a faster paying using LTSB Internet Banking?

I have contacted LTSB Internet help desk and according to them the faster payment has been launched as of yesterday but whenever I try to make a payment it tells me that it will take 3-4 days to reach the payee.

    Thanks

This service ( inbound only ) was supposed to start on 27 May for telephone and today, 06 June, for internet.Went into my local branch today ( I have current account with them ) where they claimed to know nothing about this. Only when I gave them their own dates and details were they able to find anything on their computer screens, it taking two assistants and a supervisor to do it.Hope it is not going to take another eight years for them to get this moving.Rgds.

A payment of £95 from my flat-mate's HSBC to my Lloyds account today moved immediately. Like others, I can't see any sign of sending faster payments on LTSB as yet....

I love it! :) Transferred some money frm Natwest to Bank of Scotland and it arrived in less than 30 seconds. Wooohoooo!

Always thought that if cash machines can do it (instantaneous deduction from your account, no matter which bank the machine you made the withdrawal belonged to), why can't transfer between bank accounts? ;)

Pity this speed has taken so long to achieve. Particularly as NatWest and RBOS are the same company.
