    -(almost,nearly,as,practically)

Append that to your search string then add any permutations as/when they arise.

I think Ebay is now being run by the government, they seem to come up with ridiculous rules with the same alarming regularity.

I had a listing removed for exactly the same, calling a suit worn once then dry cleaned 'as new'.

Ebay didn't even tell me why the listing was pulled, I had to ask them for a reason!

I noticed an auction the othe day with N/New
But I think it was in innocence as her other ones were B/New....or maybe I'm just naive.
TBH my nearly new stuff often sells just as well.

The annoying thing with my listing is that I wasn't trying to 'pull a fast one'. I just described it accurately and that was 'as new'. It was worn twice and my daughter only had it on for a miximum of 3 or 4 hours. I could easily pass as new. I've changed it now to 'pristine' and it hasn't been removed. But someone less unscrupulous would have changed it to new and the buyer would not have known because it would have passed for new. Now where's the logic in that??

Ebay is so c**p at the moment. You think they would have better things to do really. Like sorting out the mess they've made of the feedback system.... but that's another story!

I can see you having a great many more problems with selling a dress worn twice as 'new' buyers don't tend to like being scammed by sellers. Pristine htough is OK as long as any buyer, however bad a day they are having will agree with that as a description. Selling used items is possibly one of the most difficult areas on ebay as condition is so subjective.
