as for your home's value increasing by 'a consid. amount' over 10 months: where did you buy?

    khazakstan?

    No Aberdeen.

    Bought June 2007 for £176k
    Recent valuation of £215k

Houses currently selling (3 in last month) between £210-225k

Yes my own YOY is showing good gains:D

    Nonsense.

    No, not nonsense.

Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire are still showing strong YOY gains.

Around 18% at my last check of data :D

Of course Aberdeen is rocketing! It's an oil town, and oil has gone through the roof.

When North Sea oil runs out, however, Aberdeen will be a ghost town.
Hurrah, now I have more thankings than postings, cheers everyone!

The only polite use of that info is to point out drive by trolls and i post link spammers.:p:p
After the uprising of the 17th June The Secretary of the Writers Union
Had leaflets distributed in the Stalinallee Stating that the people
Had forfeited the confidence of the government And could win it back only
By redoubled efforts. Would it not be easier In that case for the government
    To dissolve the people
    And elect another?

    Unlikely in our life times.

Wells that were once thought to be out of reach are now within reach, technology moves on ;)

You think? The UK is already producing only around 1.5 million barrels a day (1.6 in March, we'll assume April's 1.4 was a blip caused by the Grangemouth strike), whereas in the late 90s we got up to almost 3 million. If it weren't for the price rises, the UK oil industry would be in a major recession already.

I'm not questioning what you say - it just seems a bit daft for the LR to publish an average price if they don't include all sales.

    Do LR include repossession prices?
RENTING? Have you checked to see that your landlord has permission from their mortgage lender to rent the property? If not, you could be thrown out with very little notice.
