    Well.........

Why is my life never straight forward????

Found the perfect suit cases in Tesco's! But, there is always a 'but'. They hadn't been 'put on the system'. Although someone had put the whole range out, cos they weren't 'on the system', we were not able to buy them!! spoke to a 'manager' who informed us that this happens alot, even with baked beans (huh?) and they couldn't ring head office as it wouldn' t make any difference.

Several shops and much petrol later, got a case from Sainsburys but its girly so still have to go out somewhere else for one for son.

    The hassle.. :o

Got a pair of shorts and a skirt tho...

I've emailed for a taxi at Pahos and arranged car hire - wanted an automatic but they so much dearer - that is where the States is much better, auto standard, 'stick shift' extra.

    Its all a rip off

Gramps was doing so well, but has taken a turn for the worse again, so we all back on stand by.

Its all a bit stressful and worrying, he was looking not bad the other day and knew us all too.

    For those not bored....

Gramps has picked up a bit. Hols looks like it is back on. Think have got everything now.

We have an option on XL to upgrade luggage allowance from 15k to 20k for £7.50 each way. 15k doesn't sound alot, I'm old and useless with metric and it was worked out that 15k is 33lbs - if that is so, that is what it used to be in the 60's and 70's for economy class - lord knows how I remember that, but I was a junior secretary in a travel agency that dealt with business travel. 33lbs was fine back then when I went on my hols!!

    I feel old now..........
