    I will.

Its not looking that great at the moment for Gramps. But you can't tell. We're all in limbo land. I prob sound mercenary to some but it is something that has to be sorted out.

Its all happening......... what with T3Direct (see vent forum) and I got a bank statement showing a dd to Scottish Power of -get this - £207!! And that is monthly! It was £88 - bit of a jump. And, RAC are still dd me for car insurance that I cancelled....... cos got a better deal elsewhere...

    Er what else....

Think that is it. When you work long hours - you don't really need this at weekends etc. Or spending my lunch hour on hold.

Feel bit better now :D Really could do with a holiday..... :(:(:(:(

Coming out of limbo land into panic...............

It looks like two of us are going and the third may or may not go or may come out for a few days.

Its suddenly all systems go with just over two weeks to go.. car hire, taxi's. The price of a taxi to the airport nearly made me fall over - £75 - one way!! Must chat up family.. Euro's - get them - where from? Need a suit case... If only I could afford to go away regularly, I would probably be quite calm.. Sarongs??? Need cheap sarongs, where? I only have two shopping days left.. tomorrow and next Sat.

Can you drink the water in Cyprus? Why is the 'sump' not covered on the car insurance? Are the roads that bad??

Are there supermarkets in Coral Bay or do we have to drive to Paphos??

Plus a million more unimportant questions and worries in my head....:o

The roads are fairly good unless you go off road but watch out for potholes at the beach car parks. There is a small supermarket at Coral bay, it sells just about everything you will need. The water is drinkable but tastes awful so you may like to get bottled water from said supermarket. We claimed from a similar insurance policy when our grandaughter was seriously ill, they were very good and paid all my wifes expenses when she returned to UK. Hope this helps, have a good time, take care of yourself!

Oh thank you - that has taken a bit of panic away. We are a shortish drive from Coral Bay, Im a bit nervous about driving out there (not sure why), in Coral Bay, is there also chemists and such? Is it easy to park? Are there cash machines if run out of Euro's??

I'm trying to be calm..... :D

Is it easy to buy stuff out there if you forget anything??

    No don't panic!

Do you have a Tesco Extra near you? They had a decent selection of cheap sarongs last time I was in there.

I usually use the Post Office for my currency exchange but have a quick search on the forums and I bet you'll soon find the best deal for Euros.

What about making a list of all your tasks/worries (if you haven't already) so it's on paper rather than in your head? :)

Couldn't you buy sarongs out there? Probably for less than the cost here. And I'm sure they have cash machines: I've used them in places like Ghana and Vietnam, so I'm sure they have made their way to Cyprus.

    Sorry for being neurotic... :o

I used cash machines in the States with no problem. And yes missyg, I should make a list, normally do, but keep forgetting.. oh dear, what a nut I am. Too much going in life as well as the holiday!

I'm sure I saw an ad somewhere that said Asda had suitcases on special, but its not on their site. I was thinking of nipping to George for some shorts so may find sarongs and suit cases there.

Guess medicinal stuff too. Pen and paper....

I'm waiting for a delivery so can't go out just yet. Will write a list. Must order taxi and find some car hire......

I'm running out of dosh.... :o
