What about aerosols like deodorant? Does this have to go in checked in luggage? Are they likely to leak in checked in luggage because of the reduced pressure?0

The hold is pressurised the same as the cabin. The idfference is that it may or may not be heated depending on the cargo. If there are animals in the hold then it has to be heated. If they are transporting fresh flowers, then it is better if the hold is not heated.Need_More_Money wrote:What about aerosols like deodorant? Does this have to go in checked in luggage? In answer to your question, I would put it in your checked luggage. They might classify it as a weapon if you carry it on board.

The hold is heated ! If it wasn't, it would soon be the same temperature as outside -50 degs C. Wouldn't do the flowers a lot of good !0 -

i always carry jewellery, money, passports, medication in hand luggage and everything else in suitcase. the rules on aerosols vary from airline to airline. some let you have toiletries like mousse and deodorant in your hand luggage, others say they have to be in your suitcase.0
