I have just started having a go at a few competitions, including a few holiday ones. However thay are for a family of 4 and there are 5 of us, was wondering if I was ever fortunate enough to win one of these holidays, could you add a person to the booking (at own cost obviously) or would you have to forfeit the holiday?0

I think it's down to the promoters discretion in the end - some allow you to pay the extra for another child, but some won't - no rhyme or reason to it.
There are 5 of us aswell - and I don't enter many holiday because they are for 2+2, as my kids are 7,5,3 I wouldn't want 1 in a seperate room! which would mean a big amendent - bigger room etc - which they may not be willing to cover and I would be too disappointed! Thanks, I was thinking more specifically about what it was about those sites that are good. Easy to enter comps, etc?
That's an odd question - It sounds like a 'research' question!
IMO You either like a site or you don'tHere is the friendliest site I've come across, and everything you need is in one place too.

Hi all, got a question for those of you that won on the virgin experience comp, I have at long last decided what i want with my vouchers, I need to add some cash to my win but not sure how much. The problem is that I want a wine experience £80 and the Chocolate hamper (the small toffeechoc one) in the brochure it is £49 but when i went on the website for more info it is only £39 so how much do I send ? Any opinions much appreciated.
Thanks in advance
Tracy
Forgot to add my vouchers come to £109recent wins-3 x anchor, a bag of skittles, 50 spud shillings, A tassimo mug :T0 -
New to comps and just wondering hypothetically if you win a competition on a website does it reduce your chances of winning there again?
For example; winning a smaller prize, i.e. a hamper, then missing out on a bigger prize such as a holiday.
Do they make sure you don't win twice, I'm just considering whether it's worth entering the smaller comps or sticking to the biggies?Back Comping as of Sept '09!

I'm new to comping, although my mum did successfully comp for quite a while, until one day the post lady commented on all her parcels and mum told her she never knew what was coming as she entered comps, she didn't get any parcels after that, funny eh?
Anyway back to what I wanted to ask. How many comps do you all enter and how successful are you at it?
Kind regards
