I went - I tried, I found the compatible one (the site even said it was compatible) but no, of course it won't ffffing work! Nothing is working for me atm!

Gives me the same error as before - Curse you darn machine!
    ;):D

it just wants to mess me around.

Josie - the link to the add-on (ending 4336) only supports version 3.0a8, which is an early test version of FF, you will probably have the newest version 3.0.1

If you look for the review comments towards the bottom of the 4336 page & click 'see all reviews' the page which is displayed shows a discussion about how to get snaplinks to work with the latest version of FF. There are multiple ways around installing it, none of them are particularly straightforward/user friendly. However they will work as my BF installed it on my computer! I guess I'm lucky I have a techy BF :o
Sad because you don't know what to do? Comping question? Take a look in the Comping Guide to find out

Josie - I just called the BF over & hopefully this will work for you:

(Note: This isn't an official add-on but it was one of the top links off that discussion page so it's your choice if you put it on, BF just put it on his if that helps)
    1. Remove existing snaplink add-on (goto Tools > Add-ons > Extensions > select it on list & hit 'uninstall')
    2. Restart FF
    3. Goto http://snaplinks.tk/
    4. Read page & download file
    5. Unpack the file to somewhere you can find it again!
    6. Goto Tools > Add-ons > Extensions
    7. Drag .xpi file you just unpacked & drop into the extensions box
    8. Hit the install button
    9. Restart FF
Hopefully, if you followed all of the above you can now enjoy snaplink on your updated FF! :) Have fun!

    Thanks VG & VGBF

all was going well but it is still giving me the same response! I don't think FF is working quite right because it says stuff will be 'uninstalled when FF is restarted' then I click the restart button and it restarts but hasn't removed what it says it will! Even tried a total system restart - nada!

I'll have my bro take a look when he gets a minute. I'll stuggle on with a page at a time lol

If I remember rightly the June end of month list was posted up a day early, so there were 2 stickys at the top of the page. So we could do that again and have 1 sticky for comps ending 30th and 1 sticky for comps ending 31st?

I don't think there will be a problem with that since it has been done before.
Thanks to everyone that posts :T:money:

Some are on hols aren't they, or should you send a courtesy pm to them all?
My light may be on, but that doesn't always mean I am looking at the PC - I am far more likely to be cuddling or feeding Tianna atm, so please don't think I am ignoring you if I don't reply quickly :)

Well I just tried to figure it out, but all of the BGs have signed in today, so maybe I was dreaming earlier...

popped back on again - what's the link chick?

house to home have the submit button to the right hand side, under the T&C's - can you tab down to it (if the key is out of the hoover??) or just hit return when you've filled in all you need to?

    spk ltr I'm away again!
