Hi I noticed whilst trying to enter the gmtv comp to win a Silentnight bed that you couldnt enter a Hotmail address to register. This set me thinking that maybe to win all the other tv comps you would need to enter a different email address although like one of the other posters said they actually ring you if you win.2008£3002009£13002010£15002011£41952012£21942013£1494

I have had my hotmail.com addy with them for years and works fine, and have won off them before and receive my emails, just has to be .com I think:D ITV comps phone, can be a mobile number you choose aswellto be updated:;)0 -

I tried a while ago to register using my hotmail address and it didn't work but when I tried again recently on the off chance it went through so it looks like they may have resolved that issue.0 -
I've had a hotmail addy with ITV since the beginning of this year and no problems
I've also won and had a 'phone call from them.Wins since 2009 = £17,600MANY THANKS TO ALL OPS0 -
don't know what emails they accept for the itv comps, but shouldn't matter as they contact by phone anyway.
As for postcode if may be a data collection thing, to find out which areas are watching the show (perhaps they have had entries from folks who can't receive the show - I'm not sure of the coverage), but if you are concerned then don't fill it in as it's not a compulsary field.
Since they started the postcode on the ITV comps I have had to be careful with Real Deal. In Northern Ireland it is on at 5pm, so I always have to wait until then to enter;) Just incase they reaslise by my postcode that I entered when it wasn't on here!:coffee:0 -

To be fair, I went a bit mad when I first started internet comping - so much there, so easy to enter. It was only when I realised that I was giving most of my prizes to Charity, and Charity wasn't that thrilled by them either, that I calmed down and started entering for what I actually wanted.
Other newbies probably follow the same pattern.0 -

Just find it quite annoying when people dont even want these prizes..
The only thing i have won i have no need for is an apple slicer..
Dont even think i was a comp.. But in any case it will come in handy
