free call to 02 customer care

02 charges too much when we call to customer care.if you wanna make free call to them and save atleast £1(20p/min) every time when you call.
here is the loophole.

Dial o2 top-up line 4444.then press 1(topup)then the system will ask for various options.just you have to do is dont press key 9 the system will say "we didn't reg. that properly, please try again"

This will be repeated about 10 times.den the system will ask if u want help of c/care.den you can press relevant option(i.e. key 1)and you ll be connected.....
you can get your things done.c/care will not ask you about top up.

I've not used this from the mobile for a while. You dial 100 from your mobile and this used to get you through to Customer Service.
    Hope this helps.

The way Muhamid suggests still works.

If you ring 0800 005 005 its the contract dept but they will patch you through to payg customer services.

You can call also ring 0870 5 678 678 out of your payg inclusive/bolt on x-net minutes if you have any.

Last but not least you can call them on 01274 388 261.
  • Or 0161 7055000 does the trick for me.

Do you know does this number work for contract bill equiries or is it just payg?
I only have a national rate number to call them and they keep me hanging on for ever.
