Daughters 21st birthday soon

Its my daughters 21st birthday soon.

As her present she wants some cash to put towards her first car (shes having lessons now).

She doesn't want a party, just a nice meal out with us (parents) & her boyfriend.

Its on a Friday.

Even though we are giving her cash, I would like to get her something "to open".

What did you do to celebrate your 21st or your childs?
Did you buy a "to open" present? What was it?

I know my mum always wanted to buy me a car on my 21st, but couldnt afford to, she got me some jewellery which i always remember as my 21st birthday present. As do both of my sisters who always borrow it.

even if it's some thing small, i would get a present to open, something personal that she will always remember.

Yes I will, I'm just flumuxed for ideas.

She wears either Tiffany Jewelery (& has EVERYTHING she would want in the range) or costume sort of stuff & has loads of that.

I might look at a pair of Tif earings.

    Thank you

BTW we are putting cash towards the car, NOT buying it!

What about something nice that she can keep and remember like a charm bracelet?

Yes that's the name! I never remember. I know you can buy them in Clintons though. My 21st was a few years back now but I'm sure they'll still do something similar. It's very pretty and nice to keep :p

Links of London jewellery is very popular now too and they have a nice 21st charm on one of their bracelets I'm sure :)

I was bought a 2nd hand single bed for my 21st. But I guess kids expect a bit more these days.
