Sky Tv To Cancel Or Not To Cancel

I've just phoned up sky to cancel, wasn't offered any deals
( already have a sky + box downstairs & multiroom upstairs) we normally subscribe to sports package & 6 choice package, we can't get free broadband in our area and I'm not interest in changing phone providers thought I might get a bit of a discount but the guy said 'no sorry aren't doing discounts any more' and confirmed cancellation
Debating what to do, should I cancel the cancellation as I'll miss my sky + too much:eek: or should I hold out to see if they phone me with a deal ????
My financial circumstances are not too bad we can afford it but I would like it for less ( typical money saver )
HELP !!!

I would hold out til the end of the cancellation period then telephone Sky to change your mind. You can, of course, just have the Sky+ function which costs £10 pm0

I'm confused - do you want to cancel or were you just hoping they'd offer you a discount for the hell of it?Gwlad heb iaith, gwlad heb galon0

Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere (please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. Open a new account in the other halfs name if they do not offer you anything. Then ebay your boxes0

i left sky for 12 months and they kept on hassling me, the only reason i went back to sky was i was getting the broadband, im still only on the basic package.
I get all my other things like sport and films from abroad on a slightly bigger motorised system which doesnt cost me anything.
If you think you are going to miss sky plus there are many freeview pvr's with twin tuners that are similar to sky+.
Saying that you will be able to rejoin Sky at anytime so go through with the cancellation and wait.
