HomeChoice??? or NTL

can anyone tell me what the service is like with HomeChoice?

I'm currently with NTL and pay something like £21 for the Base pack+ phone and £18 for Broadband = £39

, but home Choice offer the lot for £18 , but you need a BT line so add £10.50 = £28.50, that's almost a £10 cheaper.

Would this be a good move?

Youd have to buy an ADSL modem (unless it's free) and ntl provide it free and if it goes wrong you get another free ...etc. also some providers charge a one-off connection fee for ADSL as BT wholesale charge per connection to your supplier.

Depending on the above and you like what you see at HomeChoice then I'd give it a shot but remember you have to give NTL 30 days notice of cancellation plus also when you ring NTL to cancel call NTL Customer Relations (option 2) on 0800 052 0243 and no doubt they'll offer you £100+ credited to your bill instantly if you stay - NTL are keen to keep customers at the moment
