    Take a look at www.fast4.net £6.99/month for unlimited access (freephone access). Signed the father in law up about 4 weeks ago and it seems fine.
    Before you buy Google Nest or British Gas Hive check out ESPproMon the Android and iOS Smartphone app that helps you build the same system from just £30.

    zazizam (https://www.zazizam.com) have several packages - one is specifically off peak, for £2.99 with phone option - unlimited access between 1am and 8am every day (£4.99 without phone option)

    £4.99/£6.99 60 hours worth of net access anytime
    £6.49/£8.49 100 hours worth of net access anytime.... and so forth - see their site for more packages

    have friends on it, and they highly recommend it

    Before I had broadband, I used to use btinternet.com for free off peak, by dialling up their geographical no 0121 478 9200 thro my talk talk free even & w/e calls.
