Cancelled daughters insurance but now she needs it!

Not at all ChrissyG, just thought the idea of this forum was to give advice!
i did give advice i said move on , clearly not what you wanted to hear! i can see whare your daughters flighty attitude comes from ! feel free to respone but this is my last comment on the subject . bye bye !
Oh my god!! Move on yourself!! Yours was not actually advice, it was an opinion. Thank you for being so gracious as to invite me to respond - I was totally unaware it was by invitation only!!
And DO NOT call my daughter into question, it is absolutely nothing to do with you. Flightly attitude indeed, who made you god?
So nobody is ever allowed to take up a new challenge, or try anything new?? If that is being flighty then I hope that myself and my husband HAVE instilled that attitude in all of our children. I would rather them venture out into the big world and try things for themselves, rather be staid and never venture from home. And as previously said, I came on here to ask for solid advice (which I have been given (and have accepted) by several people responding (thank you to those civil people, much appreciated), I did not come on to ask how to raise my children and whether I should "let" my daughter go to Ibiza; she is an adult and at her age I was married with a mortgage and planning my first child, I doubt if my mother or father could have stopped me from doing this, nor would they have wanted to.
Don't know if you have children yourself, but with an attitude like YOURS, I feel sorry for them if you have, KNOW ALL!!

I don't know either of you from Adam, so have no vested interest in this thread, but boy, some of you come across VERY poorly...April Grocery Challenge £81/£1200 -

Hands up, might have been a "bit" immature, but when you come on a forum asking for ADVICE and then have your daughter and yourself called flighty, it gets a bit much.
Other posters managed to answer my question quite civilly, I don't see why he/she couldn't. If they didn't have proper advice (either way, I was only asking, from somebody hopefully in the know) she/he shouldn't have bothered replying!!
Incidentally, after receiving good advice from 3 posters (thank you) I have now got her insured again; advice - thats all I wanted, not to be told to move on!
Anyway, must go CBEEBIES is on and it is time for my bottle and nap!!:j

The real pain in the butt is that she was three quarters of the way through what might have been another years no claims.
Just an idea but I wonder if the insurance people would listen to your daughter telling them the policy was cancelled without her authority? Presumably it is her policy in her name, so should the insurance company have taken notice from another person?I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards.
