I got my final notice for 07/08 and provisional notice for 08/09 on 21st April, when can I expect my final notice for 08/09. I need to show an agency my notice papers and they won't accept the provisional award notice, only a final one.
Thanks0 -

7-10 days after the renewal has been processed is the approximate timescale.
If they need any further information they will write back to you within about 2 weeks.
last time i rang up for renewals a few years ago now, the guy was literally shouting at me b/c i couldnt find the number on my p60 (im always in a panic on the phone, my mind goes to jelly) so i always make a point to do it in the mail.0 -

Fair enough, one bad adviser but please dont make a general statement.
Regardless of how aggressive, thick or plain rude the callers are I try to stay polite and professional.
If you have all of the details on your declaration form ready to send you could just call up but if you prefer just send it.0 -

If you have received the finalised award for last year, your current year award will be also re-calculated. It has either gone astray in the post or the TCO system has not issued your current year award as yet. There has been a bit of a delay with the system issuing some of the current year awards but they should eventually come out.0 -
reading that(maybe iam wrong here)does that mean my award will turn up and thats it done,or will i have to fill in all forms again?subsoniccoyote wrote: »your current year award will be also re-calculated.

i think you have a fair point, maybe i shouldnt generalise like that.0 -

If you have received the finalised 07/08 award you wont need to fill out the forms again. Your up to date 08/09 award should turn up soon, if not there is no real need to worry. If you notify of any changes of circumstance, a new 08/09 award should be automatically issued.0
