Be as open and honest as you can as they can and do access this info themselves. Seen them obtain all details for several years of peoples bank accounts without them knowing.

If you are receiving Income Support then they must be informed about the existance of the ISA. After all its better to be safe rather than sorry. If the DWP find out about the account - they may think the reason you havent told them is because you are trying to hide capital. You are obliged to tell them of all accounts even if they contain no money. The Inland reveue could inform the DWP, and cause you all sorts if problems. Let them know as soon as possible.
