in Water bills
Hi, ive just had the water bill put into my name with Northumbrian Water, when i rang them they said they would send me a form within 10 days to set up a direct debit and get a meter reading.
Now that was over a month ago & i havent received anything from them untill today when i got a bill for £60.50  This is for not even a month 24/04 to 12/05 and they say i have used 29cm of water!
Can this be right? We havent changed how we are using the water etc and we never used to use this much

Could you be paying for some of the previous occupant's bill?
Is the initial meter reading correct(i.e. did you read the meter yourself)
Is the latest meter reading correct or estimated?
29 cubic metres in 18 days is not very likely - unless you water the garden all day!0
