What is a Cashline card with RBS? Is just an ATM card or does it have a debit on it too?

    Hi Proliant

As far as I know they now issue two different ones, one is called Cashline and is an ATM card only and the other is Cashline Plus and has the SOLO logo and Maestro for overseas use just the same as the NatWest equivalent the Cashcard. Cashline has always been the RBS name for their ATM's like Servicetills etc.

'Highline' at RBS is a Maestro card. Cashline/Plus is Solo.

Do they report account conduct to the CRA's?

    I agree with you.
RBS are a very good bank - the great thing about them also, if you can get a basic account then you can work your way up as they only do internal checks after you have an account with them - so if you apply for a OD or an account upgrade and have used your account correctly with them you should get an upgrade and even if you have got a default now and/or late payments

They always will report it to Experian.
I think RBS may be better than A & L as they have more branchs and dont know if you knew, you can use those horrible Natwest branchs also to make deposits into your account with a credit book.
RBS I find has very high security as you even have to enter your PIN to make depoists, odd I know but very secure.
