 Not so sure about the duck now. I'd have to buy loads of stuff.
(I literally have nothing on that video!)
I like the idea of something not so sweet. I'd have real trouble eating them as they are - I need something to balance the sweetness. Any more ideas? If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0 -

I was close. Post corrected. I got confused with a stir-fried veg' recipe I'm working on. It's been a long, hard term. I may just sleep until Monday week. The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life.0 -

It's quite ok Mr Leak. I like carrot better than cucumber. If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0 -
How about turning the plums + juice into a sorbet? I did something similar with bottled strawberries and it was lovely. Stick the plums and juice in the blender, whizz up until it's liquidised then pour into a plastic container with a lid and bung it in the freezer for about an hour. Take out and stir every 30 mins or so to break up the ice crystals. Do this about 3 times then freeze it until you want to eat it. You'll need to take it out of the freezer about 15 or 20 mins before you eat it though or you'll end up with a bend spoon0

I hate to be picky but it's actually shredded leek used in duck and pancakes!
But spring onion is a good substitute.
I used to work in a Chinese so I know thats what they use.

Its a bit early, but could you make a "rich fruit cake" (xmas cake to you and I?)
Mix the plums in with cherries and raisens and stuff? Obviously it may mean trips to unknown areas of Morrisons
Just an idea!
