Unlock LG8120

Hi all,
I've seen plenty of sites or programs that can unlock LG phones but none of them mention the 8120. Can anyone help? My wife has one of these which is now useless and mine will be cut off within about 6 weeks as well.

It would be nice to get this phone working with Orange or Virgin. It should at least prove whether its the phone or 3 that are the reason for poor signal etc.

there is free s/w available to unlock some of these - depends on your phone s/w version. look under the handset information section in the phone menu.
i think if its v104 or more then you would need to downgrade it.
would be easier to get it done by direct unlocking clip for about £5ish
dont try the free codes floating around the net as it can lock the phone up

s/w here but you need a modded cable and you may need to downgrade phone s/w first to unlock
