Phoneboxdirect / Voda £17.50 deal !!!!

Hi,
I was one of the numerous vodafone customers that lost out when PBD went into administration. Luckily, like most, I was offered the £17.50 a month deal for the remaining term of my contract instead of the £35 I should have had to pay.
My contract is due to expire in 1 months time but I was wondering if people were kept on the £17.50 a month deal after their 12 months were up?
If so, it seems quite a good deal. I could happily pay £17.50 a month for another year or so at present but I would shop about if it automatically shot back up to the £35 a month tariff.
Does anyone know if this is the case? Please only advise if you are in the same situation rather than make assumptions (as I assume everyone will tell me it will go back to the £35 a month deal)
Also as an optimistic afterthought, does anyone know if there is any postive news about claiming lost cashback? A 20 min read of the main thread yields little but I might have missed something since I have not been on these boards for months.
Thanks in advance!!:o

I was in the same situation.
I got the £17.50 deal but they extended my contract by 6months. Then after a lot of hassle i got them to put my contract back to when it originally should have ended.
When i called to upgrade a few months later they said i had the £17.50 on my account for another 8 months, which they thought strange. They must not have changed the half price offer to end when my contract did.
Anyway ive now got 500mins 250txts for £17.50 plus the Samsung f700 until Nov then it goes back to £35 until i can upgrade again in Feb/March i think.
If i changed my tariff i would have lost the half price.
Not sure if this happened to anyone else.0 -
I got the £17.50 deal for my wife when PBD went through. She was quite fotunate as her contract ended in FEB. However she is still paying the £17.50 per month on the same contract. So Kilocharlie I can only assume that the same will apply to you.0

Hi, same position as you.
E-mailed vodafone to give 30 days notice to cancel contract & get pac code. They rang me tonight, and I've now got 500 x-network mins & 100 texts for £9.99 p.m. on 12 month deal.
Have accepted.
