What's it about?
If you're about to move house or know the date you'll be moving in on then visit home moving help website moveme.com and you'll get a free box containing some of the essentials you might be desperate for once you've arrived in your new home.
The pack currently includes samples of tea or coffee, milk, biscuits, toilet rolls, kitchen roll, an energy saving bulb and multi-surface cleaner although it's possible the contents may change.
Sadly there's no free kettle so make sure it's packed somewhere easy to find!
What do I need to do?
Once you know the date you're moving in visit moveme.com, click the link half way down the screen that says "Get your free moving box" then enter the details requested. The pack should be delivered to your new home on the date you've entered as your moving-in date.
How come it's free?
The moveme website can do this because the box is sponsored by the makers of the products within it.
It also has a handy moving home planner to help with scheduling.

We got one of these when I signed up through Royal Mail to redirect our post.
A nice touch i suppose for free, but don't expect too much in it!
Ours had a packet of Bourbon biscuits (broken), two sachets of Kenko coffee, a bottle of long life UHT milk, a roll of kitchen roll, a packet of andrex wet wipes, and best of all, a pack of 6 cans of Fanta orange. Can't remember if it had any teabag samples in it, and it definitely didn't have a bulb in it. It also had loads of leaflets for switching utilities and the like.
Like I say, its ok for nothing, but the contents could be better thought out, considering its supposed to be for people just moving in - such as a small jar of any kind of coffee would be better than two single cup sachets.0 -

Just wanted to let people know moveme.com doesn't appear to be working. It takes me to the holding page, where I put in my move details, but then when I click to continue it keeps coming up with page cannot be displayed.0

The last thing out and first in is the main bed so its good to go when you are ready to fall over.
The box of essentials ; cleaning supplies tools and refreshments must never ever leave your side!Stop! Think. Read the small print. Trust nothing and assume that it is your responsibility. That way it rarely goes wrong.
Actively hunting down the person who invented the imaginary tenure, "share freehold"; if you can show me one I will produce my daughter's unicorn0
