    Oh don't be so ridiculous.

The fact that I have even written a thread about is shows that I am concerned.

For example, Step-brothers and Sisters.. sharing at age 11... God forbid the 11yr old Girl got pregnant!!!!

Are you saying step siblings of 11 or younger may have sex if they share a room?

Are the sex education lessons going to encourage that by telling them what to do? Or what?

I think it should be set at age nine, for the reason that nine is the average age that girls hit puberty.

Can you imagine being 9/10/11 years old and sharing a room with your brother and dealing with your first periods, getting boobs etc?
Or a boy having his first wet dream with his sister in the same room?

Bit unfair on both parties to make them share.

TBH I dont care if people's kids in social housing have to share a room when they are 11 and older, why should your kids be given that extra right to an extra room if hard working home owners dont have that luxury! If anyone can argue against the fact they think im wrong then im all ears.

On another note but which is highly irrelevant to whether they should get an extra room or not, surely parents can teach thier kids its wrong to have sex at such a young age??? But yes, kids under 8 CAN get pregnant as the following link proves http://www.snopes.com/pregnant/medina.asp but id imagine that was very rare!

Oh boy, here we go again!!!

Why oh why do people assume those living on social housing do not work hard? Do we get easier jobs with the house, as a perk? If so I'd better get onto my HA as they've forgotten to give me mine!

However, I do get your point about people not being able to buy bigger homes so why should it be given in social housing. That said though, have you seen how difficult it is to get a bigger house?? It really isn't easy at all!!

Neither is saving up for one!

PS as we all can agree on, different kettle of fish entirely when it is genuine people, but I BELIEVE they are in the minority, which is what my comment is based on!

Like I said, here we go again! Why do you believe that - what are you basing your thoughts on???

Many, many families work hard and pay their rent. Some don't - but what makes you think it is the majority who don't?

So you wouldn't object to us being given a bigger house, as we work? Surely not...

Personally, I don't believe people in Social housing should be crammed in and given a rough deal, just because they are on benefits.

Girls can start their periods younger than 11, I did myself.

I think it is unfair that children of that age group should be made to share.

Young children, by all means.. let them share...

I started this thread as I was surprised to be told by another Mum that she is only entitled to a 2 bedroom property.
