Very roughly, the square metreage is about 1/10th of the square footage, so add a zero to the square metreage to compare.

My place is 250 square feet in total.
My last house was 1200 square feet not including the roof rooms and the garage.
I think it should be compulsory to give you the footage, it's a pain working out the size when you're trying to buy a house and calculate the £/sq ft yourself (as I have done in the past)0 -
