    Afternoon All :hello:
Not a very good day today :o But I love this thread, it helps me keep on track and gives me loads of reminders and inspiration. :D Shame I fall over occasionally :o
    • I had a chinese takeaway for lunch with colleagues.:o But only had Singapore Noodles :D
    • No Piggy click
    • Unlocked a gambling site that has some of my winnings :D
    • will sit DD down for a budgetting lesson this weekend, as she is struggling.....MS for her really.
Nothing much really, though I have every intention of a low-spend weekend, even with the children home......

Hope everyone else is doing better than me.

Hey Olive, you shouldn't be so down on yourself - we can't all have days where we spend nowt and make a fortune selling pet rocks on Ebay!

You didn't blow your budget, didn't go mad at the Chinese and you did sort out the gambling site. So I'd say that's a mildly positive day. Well done.
This year I'm getting organised once and for all, and going to buy a house with my wonderful other half. And that' s final!

Current Pay Off Target : £1500

    Afternoon all.

    Having a rubbish day today....

checked online banking - not site not working properly so can't move cash about
checked for piggy clicks - none
was meant to take stuff out freezer for dinner - forgot so i'll need to buy something now.
Was supposed to have a NSD but ended up needing a prescription so £5 spend on that. That's my 1st prescription i've needed to pay for in 2 years due to being pregnant/baby under 1. At least I lasted till the price was reduced :T .

I did sell a pair of trainers on ebay so not all bad.

    HOTS

    PS - I forgot to add - i've got shingles :cry::cry:

Pretty crappy for me too...checked online banking, DH wages have gone in but they are way down on usual month....tried to do budget for coming month (need tips on this as we both earn salary plus commission) so wages never the same each month - advice?

Been to bargain store for loo rolls etc, £2 for 9 rolls rather that nearly 2 quid for 4 rolls in supermarket....
Focusing on clearing the credit cards in 2018 :T

    i have had a bit of a bad day i suppose :s

    negatives:
haircut at T&G - £42.50 (though its been about 10 weeks since I last had it done so it was definitely time!
paid for dry cleaning - £3.99
found out id left it too late to return a belt from asos that doesnt fit me :( -£45

    positives

paid all my debts for the month - all CCs, started to pay back joint and current accounts instead of just putting enough in to cover next month's interest :s

decided its a mammoth eBay session for me tonight

working overtime and on call all bank hol weekend so come July that will pay me back handsomely!

arranged to split petrol with OH when i visit my parents back in Devon next weekend

worked out all the debt i owe in the world and added to my thread which im using as a journal to motivate myself (quite depressing i must say)

decided with the OH that the Pizza Hut delivery we have been looking forward to all week is going to cost too much and be too unhealthy so its a healthy cupboard dinner for us!

coming on here and reading how well everyone else is doing to motivate me into MSE mode for the entire weekend, when I originally planned to go spend spend spend in Topshop tomorrow (with what I dont know lol)

thats me for now. This thread is really motivating - thanks! :)

I was feeling pretty negative earlier today.
But I've just done my on-line banking and have "discovered" £220 which I hadn't included. :j

On the other hand, I'm probably STILL not going to clear those 2 interest free cards by the deadline of August, so I shall have to look for another 0% deal which wil cost 2-3%. Hey Ho.

You're right Louby Lou, this thread is motivating. I shall get onto e-baying now. :p
